not suitable for Shimano 12-speed chains. the chain does not fit into the tool. The chain turns out to be wider than the hole for the chain. On a Sram 12s chain, it does work but it’s very tight. an error that they do not announce correctly.

Almost doesn’t fit onto the chain, it is a very, very tight fit but it has to be forced into it. While the design is innovative and compact, i sense the original was a bit wider and some measurements got poorly translated.

Not suitable for thicker chains like the Shimano 6100

Complete garbage, avoid like a plague. It doesn’t work, not even once. Aluminium threads immediately stripped on first try and the pin is so soft it just bent. The chain i used it on is still intact. Bought a t-shaped riderace tool afterwards, and for just a little bit more money it worked perfectly!

Small and compact. Good for that oh crap chain broke yet still need to extract from the trails situation. Note the courier company doesn’t do a good job of notifying when item is to be delivered though.
